- Is this a genuine work from home job?
- Yes. It is fully remote — you work from home anywhere in Karnataka, using a phone and an internet connection. There is no office to attend and no travel.
- Can I do this part time, alongside another job or from home around my family?
- Yes. You can commit two to three hours a day, four to five, six to eight, or full time. Many YASHOMARGIs are homemakers, teachers or retired professionals fitting it around other commitments.
- What is the salary, and how much can I earn?
- Remuneration is a base plus performance incentives, and the specifics are discussed at interview. We do not publish an earnings figure, because what someone earns depends on the hours they give and the conversations they have — and a number on a webpage would be a promise rather than a fact.
- Is there any fee, deposit or registration charge?
- No. There is no fee to apply, no joining fee, no training fee and no deposit — refundable or otherwise. If anyone asks you for money in connection with this role, it is not us.
- Do I need previous experience?
- Experience in journalism, teaching, counselling, sales, telecalling or working with students and parents helps, but it is not essential. Confident spoken Kannada and a genuine ability to listen matter more.
- Is Kannada compulsory?
- Yes, for this Karnataka hiring phase. You must be able to counsel a student or parent confidently in Kannada. English or Hindi in addition is an advantage.
- What does applying involve?
- A three to five minute online form, and a 90-second voice audition where you respond to one situation as you actually would. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by the YASHHO team.
